This article reflected on Carl Rogers' Contribution of the Person-Centered Approach (PCA), where the importance of dealing with interpersonal relationships and the valuation of the human being are verified, with the assumption that there is an upward inclination in it, where it is certified that the person tends to grow, to develop his potential in a positive way. For child psychotherapy, we sought to understand the influence of the psychologist's approach of the Person-Centered Approach on the dynamics of the child psychotherapeutic process, as well as the investigation of the PCA method in the person in the practice of infantile psychotherapy; the reflection on the structure of the therapeutic environment, the description of the psychologist's attitudes in this process and finally the analysis of his attitudes within the context of this approach and its effects on the dynamics of the child psychotherapeutic process. The study was developed based on the bibliographical research and as a result it was verified that the accompaniment of the Person-Centered Approach child psychotherapist provides a positive development of the child's emotional, cognitive and self-esteem competences, the balance of anxiety, also promoting the ability to be more assertive. It is confirmed that investment in psychotherapy favors the construction of self-knowledge for the child, feeling greater pleasure for life and that, consequently, improves the quality of experiences and relationships with others, contributing to the formation of an autonomous adult, with wisdom and security to make healthy choices.
