Abstract

This pilot study derived from a doctoral research had the main purpose of investigate how a graduate of a Master's program in Human Development with a Person-Centered Approach lives the experience of personal change, taking into account that studying that master's degree impacts beyond the professional field, because it touches the personal and human part of those who are part of a program with such characteristics. A qualitative research was carried out, through the phenomenological method and the technique of the semi-structured in-depth interview to a graduate of the Master's Degree in Human Development of the Psychology and Education Institute from the Universidad Veracruzana at Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico. A description of the experience of personal change was obtained as a result from the areas: emotional, self-knowledge, communication and interpersonal relationships.
