Abstract

The article examines the application of the Gendlin Experiential Focusing technique in group psychotherapeutic contexts. Various aspects of such application are referred to as such as characteristics of the sessions, the role of the facilitator and theparticipants, considerations to carry it out, as well as its difficulties and benefits. The text also presents some examples of application of Focusing in therapeutic groups based on the experience of the author and the experiences and proposals of other authors in the field of Focusing applied to a group situation.
